travel central america honduras roatan gumbalimba park

Gumbalimba Park is a highly manicured, privately owned nature park on Roatan's West End.
Visitors are treated to close encounters with monkeys, parrots, iguanas, and other "local" animals.
There is also a white sand beach with numerous water activities, a pool, a man-made cave, and a small suspension bridge.
Although very structured and touristy, meeting the monkeys and parrots was still fun.
Watching the faces on some "animal-phobic" visitors (like my wife) was entertainment in itself.
